hot chocolate with nutmeg

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk or nondiary milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons raw cocoa powder
  • 1.8 oz dark chocolate 50 gr
  • 1 big pinch grated nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk in a small pot adding cocoa and starch.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  3. Meanwhile, water bath the chocolate until completely melted.

  4. Add honey, nutmeg and melted chocolate to the milk and mix well.

  5. You may need to whisk it a little bit (check for starch lumps).
  6. Add one more pinch of nutmeg before serving it hot.
