Ingredients

  • Sel gris or other natural coarse salt
  • Red wine
  • Rosemary

Instructions

  1. Place salt in a bowl, cover it completely with wine. Add a rosemary sprig per each half cup and let marinate for an hour.
  2. Drain and display salt (and rosemary), on one layer, on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. Sun-dry 2-4 hours.
  4. Pour the salt in a jar and add the dried rosemary for further flavoring.

  5. Store in a cool dry place.
