homemade wine flavored salt
salt seasoned with wine
Ingredients
- Sel gris or other natural coarse salt
- Red wine
- Rosemary
Instructions

Place salt in a bowl, cover it completely with wine. Add a rosemary sprig per each half cup and let marinate for an hour.

Drain and display salt (and rosemary), on one layer, on a tray lined with parchment paper.

Sun-dry 2-4 hours.

Pour the salt in a jar and add the dried rosemary for further flavoring.

Store in a cool dry place.
